Vol. 001 · An engineering practice

Engineering
better buildings.
Enabling tomorrow’s infrastructure.

From thoughtfully engineered residential developments across four states to industrial facilities and the mission-critical infrastructure of tomorrow. Prana Build Tech combines engineering, technology and disciplined execution to build things that last.

Case studies,
not a gallery.

Every project we take on is a decision to engage a particular problem in a particular place, with a particular team. These are three of the ones we choose to talk about.

A quiet residence engineered against the monsoon.
N° 01
Residential · Tirupati

A quiet residence engineered against the monsoon.

Challenge
Design a mid-density residential block for a Tirupati micro-climate where humidity, monsoon load and long service life would normally force compromise on finish quality.
Engineering approach
BIM-first coordination between structure, MEP and envelope. Concrete mix designed for accelerated curing without micro-cracking. Rainscreen façade tested against 130 kmph gusts. Independent third-party inspection at every pour.
Outcome
19% reduction in RCC steel through post-tensioned slabs. Zero envelope defects at 24-month post-handover audit. Handed over three weeks ahead of schedule.

A production facility designed as one continuous system.
N° 02
Industrial · Andhra Pradesh

A production facility designed as one continuous system.

Challenge
A regional manufacturer needed a 42,000 sq. ft. plant with process, utilities and clean-air zones, delivered in ten months, without stopping their existing operations next door.
Engineering approach
Pre-engineered primary frame with cast-in-place plinth. Vibration-isolated foundations for CNC lines. Airflow, drainage and MEP routed as a single 3D model. Daily digital twin sync between site and design.
Outcome
Delivered in 9.5 months. 22% lower embodied carbon per sq. ft. than the client’s previous facility. Commissioning defects closed in 11 days.

A prototype envelope for mission-critical infrastructure.

R&D · In development

A prototype envelope for mission-critical infrastructure.

Challenge
Anticipating a future data-centre and lab pipeline, we needed to demonstrate mastery of the thermal, seismic and continuity requirements that these facilities demand.
Engineering approach
Internal engineering studio prototyping high-density thermal envelopes, N+1 electrical topologies, and modular pre-cast structures. Partnerships with specialist MEP consultants. Simulation-led design before any material is cut.
Outcome
A validated reference design for a 5 MW modular hall, ready to be tailored to a client site. First live pilot under discussion.

Chapter 03 · Our philosophy

Why Prana.

Not a checklist of reasons to choose us. Six commitments that quietly shape every drawing, every pour, every handover.

01

Engineering-first thinking

Every decision, from foundation depth to door handle, begins with a load path, a physical constraint, a first principle. Aesthetics follow engineering, not the other way around.

02

Technology adoption

BIM, digital twins, drone surveys, simulation-led design and computer-vision QA are not showcases. They are how our teams now work by default.

03

Quality over quantity

We deliberately take on fewer projects than we could. Every one is staffed by senior engineers from day one and audited independently.

04

Long-term durability

A building is a fifty-year decision. We design mixes, envelopes and detailing to outlast fashion cycles and property cycles alike.

05

Thoughtful design

Restraint is a form of respect: for materials, for the site, for the people who will occupy the building long after we’ve left it.

06

Execution discipline

Programmes measured in days, not months. Cash-flow, safety and quality tracked on the same dashboard. Silent, boring reliability is the goal.

Chapter 04 · Where we are heading

The future
we are building.

Over the coming decade, the buildings that matter most will be the ones that host the infrastructure of intelligence, discovery and industry. We are quietly preparing to be one of the engineering teams India trusts to build them.

Artificial Intelligence

Compute halls, edge nodes and cooling systems engineered for accelerated workloads.

ADV02 / 07

Advanced Manufacturing

Vibration-isolated, cleanroom-adjacent plants for precision production.

DC03 / 07

Data Centres

High-density electrical, thermal and structural engineering for mission-critical uptime.

LAB04 / 07

Research Infrastructure

Laboratories where instrumentation, ventilation and safety are engineered as one system.

RBT05 / 07

Robotics

Facilities built around motion envelopes, floor flatness and predictable service life.

FAB06 / 07

Semiconductors

Ultra-clean, ultra-stable environments where tolerances are measured in microns.

QT07 / 07

Quantum Technologies

Vibration, EM and thermal isolation for facilities where the environment is the instrument.

A note on ambition. We do not claim to build hyperscale data centres today. We claim to be one of the very few Indian engineering-led construction companies deliberately organising ourselves, our people, our tools, our discipline, to be capable of doing so tomorrow.

Chapter 06

About Prana

Prana exists because the buildings around us deserve to be engineered, not merely assembled.

An engineering mindset

We treat a home with the same discipline as a factory, and a factory with the same seriousness as an aircraft. Load paths. Tolerances. Redundancies. First principles.

Continuous learning

Our engineers spend a measurable share of every year studying materials, codes and adjacent industries, including the ones we plan to build for next.

Technology

BIM, digital twins, computer-vision inspection, drone surveys and simulation-led design are baseline tools, not marketing. We measure their impact in defects avoided and days saved.

Long-term thinking

A building is a fifty-year decision. We invest today in the people, tools and standards that will let us serve mission-critical clients tomorrow, without compromising the ones who trust us this year.

Chapter 07 · Careers

For engineers who want to build the next thing , not the last one.

We are hiring civil, structural, MEP and software engineers who want to work on buildings the way software teams work on products, with rigour, iteration and a bias toward learning.

01

Builders of tomorrow

You will help deliver residential and industrial work today, and pilot the systems we will use to deliver mission-critical infrastructure tomorrow.

02

Continuous learning

Budgeted time and budgeted money to study, prototype and travel to the frontier of your craft.

03

Technology adoption

You will use BIM, digital twins, drones and simulation as everyday tools. If you want to introduce a new one, we will listen.

04

Real ownership

Small teams, senior engineers on every project, and clear authorship of what you help build.

“We would rather grow slower and be trusted with more important work.”

Chapter 08 · Contact

Let’s build something important.

Tell us about the project you have in mind. We reply personally within two working days, usually with a set of questions before a proposal.

By sending you agree we can reply to you by email. We do not share your note with anyone else.
